Montell Jordan was born on 23 December 1968, in Los Angeles, California USA, and is a singer and songwriter who climbed to fame in 1995 with the hit single “This is How We Do It”. Montell was the primary solo artist for Def jam recordings which took him to the next level of fame and money.
Jordan is not only a singer but also a songwriter and a producer, who has written and produced for other singers as well. He has released six studio albums to date, and currently serves as the worship leader at Victory World Church in Norcross, Georgia following his retirement from mainstream music industry in 2010.
